This Lego Technic produced in 1990 has been described as one of the most technically interesting Lego sets to come along and a must for the serious Lego collector. It was the first set to have two of the new 9V motors. It used an electronic box called a Control Center which could be programmed to power up to 3 motors on 3 different channels rather than the typical battery box. It is the only set in history to utilize a special Technic refillable pen. The set transforms 4 ways -- into a robot plotter which holds the pen and drives the two wheels; a pen plotter which also holds the pen; a robotic arm which can raise and lower the arm and open and close the end piece; and a motorized crane.##))
